Papua New Guinea Landslide Emergency

$ 15000 Needed Donation

The UN said the number of possible deaths after the landslide in Papua New Guinea’s Enga province on Friday could change, as rescue efforts were expected to continue for days.

It is our intention, once the funds are collected, to contribute these resources to esteemed organization, UN Resident Coordinator’s Office and The International Organization for Migration (IOM), for deployment in Papua New Guinea.  International Help Center is an international non-profit association in accordance with Poland law. Our Foundation center is based in Warsaw.

Remote communities in Papua New Guinea have been devastated by a catastrophic landslide that struck the Enga province at 3 am on 24th May. The timing of the landslide meant most people were sleeping at the time of the disaster, with little time to escape.

Hundreds are feared dead, with the United Nations estimating that at least 670 people may have lost their lives. The total population of the entire affected ward is near 4,000 people, but this number could be higher due to an increased number of displaced people living in the area in recent times.

Your generous donation today means our partners in Papua New Guinea can respond quickly to support vulnerable communities during this crisis.

Together, we can make a significant difference in the lives of those impacted by this disaster. Every act of kindness counts. Let’s stand with the people of Papua New Guinea in their time of need.

This organized appeal will help convey the urgency of the situation and encourage people to take imm.
